SQL database support

CSWorks can store live, historical and alarming data to the following SQL databases.

• Microsoft SQL Server
• Oracle
• mySQL
• SQLite
• PostgreSQL
• any ODBC data source that supports basic SELECT and UPDATE command syntax

Use SQL database engine of your choice to build highly scalable and reliable solutions. Save money by re-using your existing database licenses or by using free versions of these databases engines.

SQL database support capability allows:

• CSWorks to use SQL database as live data source, allowing reads and writes to the database;
• CSWorks to store alarm history in SQL database, so it can be processed by analytical tools later;
• CSWorks to use SQL database as storage for historical data that can be used by client applications to display historical trends.
